Anyone contributing drink recipes to the cookbook??? I've thought of two...
The first:
In celebration of NYC, and hopefully a drink to toast better days to come
THE REBUILT MANHATTAN:
2 fingers of bourbon (****)
a splash of sweet vermouth
a twist
on the rocks in a highball, or straight-up (shaken w/ice and in a martini glass)
And, of course:
THE BRACKETBUSTER
You'll have to buy the book for this most famous of drink recipes, look at what it did for BracketFest, just imagine what it could do for your next fete...
;-)
2) Place on side in a cool, dark, dry place.
3) Wait 3-10 years, depending upon the vintage (under extraordinary circumstance, you might choose to wait 20-30 years). In order to occupy your time during the wait, you may wish to Zaino your TT.
4) After opening, allow it to air for 60 minutes.
5) Enjoy with the heartier beef and/or game dishes in the cookbook.
