Monday afternoon: ordered dunlop winter sport M-2's on steelies from tirerack ....

...at my door noon Thursday. (not bad for a ground shipment Indiana to Baltimore).

205 55H 16's on 16x6 steelies...

I saw their ad in the October Road and Track, listing a package (including hub caps) for $636.00(mounted and balanced). I had no interest in the hubcaps, however, according to one of their manager's, the price shown in the ad was a misprint. They offered to let me have the wheels and tires at that price, so I grabbed it. Shipping was roughly $66. I checked locally at NTB, they couldn't come anywhere close to that price. ($145 per tire vs. $105, plus NTB tackes on mounting, valves, etc., etc. noy to mention that they weren't able to come up with a wheel near Tirerack's price).
