Work with a great group of people...not a lot of money,
but I think it's cool.

The 2001 Employee Activities Club Banquet has been cancelled.
An overwhelming majority of the EAC members have voted to instead donate the budgeted banquet money to The NY Firefighters 9-11 Disaster Relief Fund or WTC Police Disaster Relief Fund.
Approximately $15,000 will be donated on behalf of the UST Employee Activities Club members!
Thank you for taking the time to voice your opinions and for the heartfelt comments.
Some of the reactions to the suggestion of cancelling the banquet are below......
This is a very small sacrifice that our employees can collectively make.
I hope everyone votes YES!
It's a tiny drop in the bucket financially but we should be proud to do it!

DEFINITELY DONATE THE MONEY!
I feel it is the right thing to do. Some UST families were affected by this tragedy personally.
I am sure the money will be better used in this manner.
