back safely from traveling the past 3 days -- 4 plane flights...
hardly any lines (even this afternoon at detroit metro airport -- which has the reputation, well deserved, of being one of the most crowded airports in the country).
flight from detroit to milwaukee wednesday night had all of 9 people!!! the northwest agent was pretty funny with his boarding announcement:
"This is a pre-boarding announcement only. All of 9 of you may now board."
and thanks to HACK THS (Tom) for picking me up at mitchell field -- nice to meet you and very nice not to have to take a cab!

Too funny! Michael got a whole row to sleep on his way out to SLC even though his flight originally
had been totally sold out. At least the airline reps seem to be keeping their senses of humor and doing their best to keep things upbeat.
BTW, heard that a couple of airlines (AA was one) were discontinuing meals on their flights.
