Why do I have Alexico Corporation's number on my windows?

Why do I have Alexico Corporation's number on my windows?
I've just realized that there is a phone number on the corners of all four side windows and the windshield. The sign is barely visible, has a yellowish hue, and reads "TG (800) 442-3662". The number belongs to Alexico Corp.
Do you have this on your cars too?
Himmm? Did I have it since the beginning, or has it been stamped during one of the service visits?
Let's see... I got the car in Fresno, CA. The car has always been serviced in Palo Alto, CA. I brought my car in for the two recall items: the shocks and the spoiler.
I've also got the after-market ESP installation which required the car to be shipped to--I believe--Texas.
The web page indicates that Alexico Corp. is in Kansas. Himmm?
OK, I'm too paranoid already. Do you have the same number on your cars?

Dealer added, etched with acid; you should have been given a paper on it when you bought the car.
My salesman made a big deal out of it, looking to fatten his wallet. They etched all the windows and said you have x days to consider getting coverage.
