Default Saturday morning cleaing tip...

Good morning all!

Found this to work great for cleaning plastic in the interior, floor mats (carpet and rubber), etc. and many other things. Mix approx. 1-2 parts liquid laundry soap (your choice) and 20-30 parts water in a 32oz. squirt bottle. Try this for cleaning your steering wheel, gear shift, parking brake lever etc. You'll be amazed at how much dirt comes off. Can't beat the price either....

Default don't dry out that leather steering wheel cover (which soap will) - use some Lexol

just treated seats, door inserts and steering wheel last night. Once or so a year keeps it supple.

Default Good point John.........

that's why I use a *very* small amount of soap w/the water. Just enough to cut the grease/dirt. Then follow with a damp towel (water only) and then lexol. Never spray it directly on the surface to be cleaned, always spray it on the towel first. John is right, too much soap would dry out the leather. However, I've never had any problem using this method.
