Some significant new (and re-newed) models from this years show:
New VFR800 with V-Tech.....Having owned every VFR generation since '83, this is my favorite:

Huh? Your timeline's a little backwards.....>>
The only pioneering styling concept of those 3 models was the speed triple. Triumph was an early player in the "naked" bike category. It is a current trend around the world that all manufacturers are playing with. As to the other 2, Honda and the other Japanese were building faired sport bikes before the "new" triumph was even invented. Sport touring products were originated by BMW, refined by Honda with the Pan European (ST1100 to you), and will probably be taken to a new level with the 1300. Triumph is the one ripping off design cues here.....
