Poltergeist TT

So I finished my intake mod and coilovers/swaybars. Took my beloved for a test drive on the highway this evening. Everything seems ok, not sure of the power output yet as i was fairly easy on her.

Freaky thing happened when I stopped and was idling her. the car shutdown completely for a second!!!! Then sprang back to life....then shutdown completely ..then came back to life, all lights went out, engine...everything.

This is very odd. Any ideas? The only mod is MAF removal and reinstall to CDA box. I fit the snorkel into the fender...is it possible there is air blockage?

I could hear a loud vaccuum sound while driving..intake seemed to be working.
Will have to check vag diagnostics in the morning.

Did yousome how loosen the battery terminal??

Ya know why is it that simplicity is often overlooked?

It's definitely possible. have to check that as well !! LOL

Ya know my car seems to make a lot of power at 4k to redline. But there isn't any stress being felt even at 6k...could it be my tach is thrown off? I'm becoming psychosomatic but it feels torque 4k-6k is felt like 2k-4k was when she was stock.

If the battery terminal were loose . . .

It might shut down but it wouldn't come back to life on its own. My uneducated guess would be electronics. I just think that wouldn't make sense . . . if she loses power you'd have to restart with keyage. =Þ Peace-
