Default Update: Sent GIAC another email, won't hold my breath. But I did find a very helpful GIAC dealer...

Name is Dick from Shine Racing service. He agreed to take a look at how the chip was installed on the board.

I asked him how he installs the chip on the board. He uses some sore of cushions to keep it in place. Looks like AWE does the same but for some reason my PES install does not have that. I don't know if that is part of my problem but Dick is willing to take a look at my chip and board to make sure it's good.

Shine Racing Service

Default Thats nice of Dick. Find it funny how Garrett claims they are all about helping customers and ..

that developing CHIPS is their only business. I don't think APR is this bad and they develop a hell of a lot more stuff then Garrett.. I might sway my decision about getting a Garrett chip if this is the kind of ****ty service they give to their customers. Also I hope they realize that the forum has thousands of members that read these posts, negative press isn't going to help their business that's for sure. And don't even get me started on PES. Funny how they want your $$$$ but when it comes time for support issues they are no where to be found. I know if and when I chip I will be making the trek to AWE in PA, the same place where Larry got his car chipped.

Just my $.02
