Fall West Virginia Day Trip and Lunch
Sunday, October 7th
Meet at 9 AM, River Road
Depart at 9:35 AM
Drive ends at 2 in Virginia

As promised, here are the details to the West Virginia Fall Day Drive
and Lunch! I personally had a chance to test drive the route with
Mike and Pete over the weekend and let me say WOW! The roads are
perrrfect, really fun, there are twisties, sweeping curves, tight
turns, chicanes, everything.

Many people will think "Oh man I'm an Audi driver but West virginia,
am I crazy to go all the way out there?!?" Well contrary to popular
belief and our route-it doesn't take that long. The highways on the
way to WV are scenic, sweeping and clean. We have several stops
planned along the route that are just breathtaking. We have the
Sandy Cliffs, a state park lake, a one lane wooden bridges, plenty of
small towns. The fall colors are just turning and by Sunday they
should be perfect. Bring a friend because they DONT want to miss
this.

We'll be meeting right off of River Road in Potomac, Maryland. To
get there take 495 to River Road WEST towards Potomac. We'll meet on
the side of the road to the right, next to the firehouse-you'll see
the cars after going through the first intersection. This is in
response to the many people who live out in Va.

Bring a snack and water
Bring an FRS radio (not mandatory, recommended)
Wear a dcAudi T-shirt (show PRIDE)
Come with 1/2 tank or more of gas
IMPORTANT: Secure all loose items in your car
VERY IMPORTANT: Please check all your levels, including tire and
coolant!
