Is this a new feature, or a problem ...

Noticed bizzare behavior in the cluster since it was fixed (Cluster was OK, headlight motor blew cluster fuse??!?). Dealer also installed the new
light/lock/alarm module with upgraded programming.

After the repair, I noticed the following:

- Doors lock at 5 mph now, instead of 15 mph

- Driving time hour meter NEVER resets at 23:59 -> 00:00 - it accumulates time...it is up to 40:33 now. I have reset the meter a couple times, but never resets to 00:00 after it hits 23:59.

I don't mind the door lock thing. But the hour meter thing is kind of bizzare. Is this a good thing? Is this a feature that others would want? I'm sure it was a programming issue, but could it have other (bad) things associated with it? Car is running flawless now.

Only 2 things the dealer still can't seem to fix:
Bose/CD whine noise, and driver's door top leak.

About the driving time meter...

That seems to be normal behaviour. Mine keeps going up until I reset it to 00:00. I reset on a monthly basis and have seen it go past 50 hours.

Funny..The manual says it should reset at 23:59 ....and it had always done it until the repair....

Don't really care if it resets or not. Actually prefer it THIS way (not resetting).

Never know if there is a bad thing associated with a 'feature'...Like having window control on the remote key ..dealer says the 'pinch protection' is disabled if remote window control is programmed.

uh, not true...(window pinch thing)

Your dealer is wrong. I programmed mine to do the remote window control stuff, and the pinch protection still works. I tested it, to be sure when I programmed the car.
