So can an aftermarket chip have certain perameters reprogramed..
or adjusted? Like A/F ratio, I am still getting some carbon buildup on my tips which leads me to believe, I am running a little rich. Can this be adjusted via the chip?

That is what the chip does . . .
if you are running rich, contact PES and let them know that. It is possible Garrett has a newer chip for the 225.
There was a problem with the 180 chips at the beginning and they were redone to fix the richness of the programming. Give them a call, but I would not expect a response from PES on this. Mike can't get them on the phone or even a call back
He has talked to Todd/Mike at AWE on a few occasions.
