What is the difference between coilover with adjustable damping and withou adjustable?
Damping will change how a shock performs, there are two different types of damping, rebound and compression. Rebound affects how quickly the shock extends, while compression affects how quickly it compresses (duh, great writing Dale).
Anyways, to the rider it makes the shock appear less or more stiff. I'm certain that some here will say you only need such things for the track, but if you're willing to fiddle it might be the best way to adjust the ride besides changing out other suspension components.
Just my rambling 2 cents,
Dale
Best.
