Amber red leather w/o baseball optic in the 180
Also, for $ reasons, I wish to get a stripped down TT roadster (nimbus grey w/ amber red, 180). Is it even possible? I suppose that when I do buy, it will be in the used car market
, so I'd like to know if they have even been coming out like this. Also, I want to make sure that the amber red would have the same cool leather trim around the car, like shown on pp. 10-11 in the TT brochure. If I need to get the baseball optic to get that, then that's OK too.
As far as wear, I've noticed complaints of the Ebony leather wearing more than the stitched Amber Red seats. I've been concerned about the possibility of wear, but happily I can report that it has not been a problem with my car or anyone else's I've read about. The stitching "builds character", but I wouldn't call it wear so much.
The picture above shows little if any wear near the drivers left shoulder.

The picture above shows the worst wear I can find which is on the left bolster on the driver's side where the driver slides in and out of the car. This is after 9K miles. I'm very happy with it. I think it is aging gracefully.
