Strange high-pitched squeal coming from my TT this am. First time I've heard this sound. 15 MPH...
was when it reared its ugly head. Then I went in reverse and it sounded even worse. Heard it going up a hill at 25 mph. Sounds almost like I've stripped something, definitely not the same sound I heard pre-Bailey. Am going to take it on the road and see if the noise disappears at higher speeds, but wanted to check in with you wise men and women to see if anyone has any immediate insight and similar experiences. (My baby has 10,600 miles and is going in for her 10K check-up on the 22nd.) TIA, Tamara

One idea, it could be belts need tightening. Experiment with the "Econ" switch.
Even though you may not think that your air conditioner is running, it most likely is even with cool outdoor temps since it serves to dehumidify the air. The AC compressor presents a hefty load to the belts, but little resitance when switched off. If the sound comes and goes with the econ switch then your problem is simple and cheap and can wait until the appointment on the 22nd. Otherwise I can't hazard a guess as to what would squeal.

need more info.did problem happen without stepping on clutch and putting in gear?didn't matter?does a/c on/off effect it?

The squeal occurs while cruising not shifting, and I didn't have AC on today cause it was in the 60s
however, I will try to experiment with the econ switch to see if that is the culprit. My efforts to see if the squeal exists at higher speeds or RPMs was unsuccessful, as the squeal has disappeared this afternoon. Strange, no? Maybe it was my imagination.

It sounds like you had some poisture on the serpentine belt and it was making some noise . . .
good to see you on the forum, even if it is for one question! lol 
So long as you are not feeling a power loss, and it has gone away once it warmed up I would just point it out to the dealer. They will adjust the tension of the belt and it should be just fine.
Let us know if it is anything else once the dealer has a look.
