Brake Pedal Too High!
But ... the brake pedal is too high. Both of us find ourselves giving the car too much braking just because of the pedal height. We could get used to this, but the pedal is too high to allow me to reach the gas pedal with the side of my foot for double-clutch downshifts. This is very awkward and makes it hard to drive smoothly.
(1) Is this normal? Can others catch the gas pedal for a blip while on the brakes?
(2) Is the pedal height adjustable? No hope under the hood. I crawled under the dash couldn't see enough without pulling trim panels - I could not feel anything that looked like an adjusing clevis.
This is a pretty serious defect in what otherwise seems to be a well-thought-out car.

You might try adjusting the seat to find the best position for each driver. It may take a while, but I think you'll find the sweet spot for the seat.

Otherwise, there are people, as you can see, that feel the same way you do. I have no problem double clutching with my size 11's.
I have found in my experience that every car takes practice to drive well. Haven't you?

Sounds like quite a few people have a brake pedal height that works o.k. for heel/toe. I'm still hoping someone can tell me whether the brake pedal height is adjustable. I will probably just have to dig under there until I find out for myself.

Absolutely, but setting up the driving position comes first. In the case of this particular TT, there is no way to reach the gas pedal under normal braking pressures. Hence, the post.
