Default Well <sniff sniff> it's gone.

I said goodbye to my TT late last week. It just didn't make much sense to have two car payments (and two insurance payments). The nice lady who bought it probably thought I was weird when I hugged it goodbye!

People have asked me why I sold it and all I can say is "Have you ever been to the Home Depot in an Audi TT?" I'm sure some of you know what I mean. While not quite as fun, my new truck is much more useful to me right now (I'm doing a bunch of home improvements).

I would like to thank all of you for your comments, advice, and guidance thoughout my time on this Forum. I can safely say that I have learned more about automotive technology (not necessarily all TT related) here than in any other single place. For that reason alone, I will still read this forum daily. I can probably say that I have laughed more here than any other single site as well; this forum has some real characters.

I'm looking forward to my next TT purchase but not until Audi pumps up the horse power to 300+. Who's with me on that?

Marcus

I go to the Home Depot 3-4 times a week, with no problems

Default May the force be with you.....

Pity it had to go....
BUt just think how sweet the 300hp+ will feel after driving a pick up truck.
Until then....

Default You've never tried to take a large amount of lumber in your TT have you?

Sure for a hammer, or a paint brush, or a ceiling fan, the TT works fine, but there are plenty of items you can't take home with a TT.

Default I did just the opposite

Traded in a '98 Dodge Ram Quad Diesel for a '01 TTR. Who needs a truck when you've got family?

Sorry to see you go . . . I use my 1990 truck for major Home Depot runs. Most things fit in the TTQ
