OT: Local cops stop by Krispy Kreme in PD helicopter for donut break
and then the **** hit the fan. Seems like taxpayers don't like the fact that it costs $80 an hour to run the chopper and they dropped in for donut break. Internal Affairs investigation going on.
Everyone I spoke with said the same thing "hey, they're cops, for chrissakes, they are supposed to stop for donuts...they chose the best kind, anyway."
Something to lighten up things when everything these days is built on hysteria and paranoia.

Cop / donut related story
I had a news service with my old pager and one night read about cops chasing a stolen Dunkin Donuts truck. The officer interviewed stated he was relieved that it happened at night so that there were less people around to see the cops cars with lights flashing pursuing the perp.
