Remove the rubber weather-strippng here. You can just peel it back, or completely remove it. Don't worry, it goes back on very easily.

Lift up the plastic cover here. You will also need to remove the plastic cover that meets the edge at the windshield. There is a grove in that area, that this plastic piece fits into. You will need to push this plastic piece back into place firmly when you replace it.
Also, you may find it's easier to get at the ECU, if you remove the passenger wiper blade. This piece has some sharp edges, and it's difficult to get *both* hands into this area, and keep this piece out of the way.
Yea, you will find in order to remove the retaining clips for the cable connectors, you may need to have *both* hands involved. These clips I point to with the arrows, are at the sides of the connectors. They are not real obvious here, but if you get into this area, you will see and feel them. They need to be moved out, at least an inch or more, to release the connector/cables to the ECU. Tuck them out of the way, below the ECU. (There is room.) and you can them pull the ECU out. It takes a bit of a pull to do this the first time, lift up and out to clear a small tab, and youv'e got it.
