I want to buy a TT for my wife, help me decide witch model, color...

I want to buy a TT next year for my wife to replace her 2000 TrailBlazer, I would like to have comments about the 180hp vs 225hp tip transmision, not manual, I heard that the 180hp model was realy not powerful, any comments on that? She wants Quatro of course because I live in Québec, lots of snow here. And what is the more beautiful color for that car excluding grey, to much of TT are grey.

"witch" color? If it's a witch then I guess you've got to get Black :-)

Sorry, Vincent, no Tip. tranny available for the TT, Raven is obviously the most beautiful and

fastest color... get the 225 (it comes with Quattro) otherwise, you'll just end up spending obscene amounts of money modding the 180 to death. And the 6th gear is very nice for highway travel... :-)

Hmm...if I lived up there I think I'd opt for Amulet Red...

...or maybe Denim Blue...something colorful for those depressing winters. I would think that having black with all the snow and salt and sand on the road in winter would turn out to be a major disappointment...black is hard enough to maintain w/o those things!

As for tiptronic, it's not an option on the TT.

As for the engine, the 225 is obviously more desireable. Don't forget that with the 225, you get not only an additional 45 horsepower, you also get a 6th gear (the 180 has a 5 spd).
