Well the drama continues....My car is having some *hiccups* and I am not sure what is going on....

The other night my car was producing no boost....seemed like the Forge valve was sticking open and I was losing all of the boost through the valve. Came home and replaced it with the OEM to see if it cured the problem. Yesterday it seemed to be running OK although the stock DV is certainly not up to the job of holding the boost that APR is putting out. Anyway, last night while on the gas slightly, it hesitated and bucked a bit and the EPC light came on.... no power at all and I had to coast to the shoulder. I turned the car off and then restarted it....no more EPC light and the car ran fine <shrugs>

Does anyone know if the EPC light stays on from a failing DV?

It looks like I may need some help in finding out what the code was that was thrown......

Before I upgraded the Forge piston (sticking badly), my CEL light came on.... EPC should only....

come on if the system thinks there is wheel slip somewhere....

EPC light for wheel slip? I think you mean ESP =)

Have you had anymore probelms after the upgrade?

Forge has been solid... wish the fuel gauge was as reliable.... ;)

FYI, if you have a VAG tool, check to see if you are getting any Over Boost conditions..... very early on, my N75 valve went Tango Uniform and it caused a stumbling and a sense of no boost.... does not sound exactly the same as what you describe, but is worth looking into...
