Personal property tax sucks. Please read this...

Guys,

Please, help me here. My girlfriend just got a bill in the mail for the property taxes for her 2001 180TT Roaster. Get this: $1093.00 for the priviladge in Greer, South Carolina. Yes, Greer. That is where the BWM Z3 Assembly Plant is located.

Since folks from all over the country read this, please if you don't mind, what kind of property taxes do you guys pay?

In central Connecticut, ny 2001 Quattro Roadster is $820

mil rate 35.69, assessed at $23,000. Yes, I too, pay for the privilege to live here.

Ouch, Wend...Darien, CT different mill rate: 2000 180C = $299.32

Oh how about for a 2001 225TTC $1498 for taxyear 2001...oh yes...

due to a lot of major complaining about Virginia having State income tax, sales tax (4.5%), car sales tax (~2.5%), gas tax, utility tax, county property tax (house and cars), and 1% sales tax now Gov Gilmore began a car tax rebate program...so my $1498 went down to around $850. No such thing a a free lunch...
