Default Nice try at elitism :), but Windows changes just fine. It's the forum setting

that Stephen With All The Time On His Hands Poor Guy is alluding to.

Default Yep.. Talkin' about the Forum preferences.

BTW, I, of course use a Mac. Three, actually.

Having said that, I must give props to Windows... Windows 95 automatically accounted for Daylight Savings Time changes before the Mac did.

Iknow; mine re-set automatically to Standard Time. I'm assuming it's a function of my Mac.

Default I don't Normally dog operating systems, but this weeks PC Mag, Bill Machome says home version of XP.

"Don't go there!" Its basicly a downgrade from 2000. This from a PC magazine!

Default But still an 'upgrade' from, say, 98 or ME?

I imagine XP "professional" to be an "upgrade" from 2K?

My best friend told me the other day that XP Professional has to call Microsoft to have a new license key generated every time he makes a hardware change? If so, wow.

Default Which is funny since there's essentuially ne difference between XP Home and XP Pro:

You can't add Home to a domain. Only a workgroup. Otherwise, same same.
