Anyone else falling totally in love with WRC - I've checked out on CART...
CART has lost Toyota, Honda and FORD is highly expected to follow. Formula racing in US is a complete mess. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

I have BEEN loving that...It is my all time fav Motorsports to watch....
The rest just seems boring in comparison. I truly feel that these guys are the best drivers in the world.
Driving cars @ 120+ on unpredictable and everchanging road conditions makes for some of the best racing I have ever seen.
I really do like Touring cars too....

Let's just hope they will continue the WRC coverage along with the other forms of racing . . .
I am seeing more and more NASCAR shows and coverage. Not too happy about it. I don't mind watching NASCAR once in a while . . . but come on! Fox Sports is not broadcasting on Speedvision, umm Speed Channel.
I have been watching WRC for years. Almost went to Europe a number of years ago to watch the Monte Carlo Rallye. I figured I had already seen the F1 race there . . . might as well see the WRC event. Eventually I will see it. Also been thinking about putting together an SCCA Rallye car for the 2003 season, but not sure what my plans will be after next summer.

Audi used to rule in Rally!
As a kid, I loved watching Rally on TV in the 80's, what little I could find. I had an 86 Coupe GT, the FWD version of the Ur Quattro. The UR quattro was the Inline 5 Turbo quattro equipped monster in the B class. It is the car you see Michele Mouton driving in the TT commercial. Now I find myself lusting after the Subaru WRX STi, Mistubishi EVO VI and VII, and (believe it or not) Citroen Xsara rally cars. The Xsara street car is really unexciting, but I want the rally version. Man if Mitsubishi releases a full spec EVO VII, I will be all over it.
