Does anyone else share my bitter hatred for...
....the damned soft stickers they use to seal CD's. I hate trying to pull those things off. I definitely understand why so many people just pull the disk out and throw away the jewel box. That way you don't have to worry about cleaning that sticker off. Why in god's name does it have to be so easy to tear it? Huh??

they put a little red pull tab on the sticker like a pack of cigs......

CD's these day come with little tabs on them...I guess if you are buying *old* music that doesn't really sell that well, you could be just be seeing some of the early production CD's =p

trick... get a cd opener at your local cd store...
or use a sharp blade to slice the whole length of that sticker. then it is fairly easy to peel up the sticker in two large halves.
but yes, I &^@%~&! hate them too.

Dude, don't panic! Carefully "unhook" the CD cover and gently pull it away from the jewel case.
It makes it way easier to remove those sillyclear plastic seals... or to access the CD, burn a copy, and then sell on eBay as a "brand new, never used" CD.

I used to be the IT manager for a small Indy music distribution company. We had plenty of trinckets including a cd shrink wrap cutter. I'll bring you one when we gtg for the install party.
