Toyota MR2 im Formel-1-Design
Rechtzeitig zum Einstieg in die so genannte Königsklasse präsentiert Toyota neben dem Formel-1-Boliden einen Roadster mit F1-Designkomponenten auf Basis des MR2. Der 1,8-Liter-Motor mit Turbolader und 258 PS treibt die Studie auf eine Spitzengeschwindigkeit von 250 Stundenkilometern. Trotz eines kompletten Umbaus der Karosserie, des Interieurs sowie der Antriebs- und Fahrwerkskomponenten wird eine Kleinserie für die Zukunft nicht ausgeschlossen.
