2. Honking sound from engine, esp above 3000 rpm under acceleration. Usually there's a noticeable lost of power at 3000+ as well. If you have a new TT, you have a revision N valve, and these seem to be holding up pretty well.
3. Forge will make acceleration smoother, taking away a lot of the surge you get from the OEM valve. Chipped engines (by consensus though there is no hard data I know of) should probably have the best valve you can get -- which is unfortunately not the OEM valve.
