larry -- if you're still here -- do you have any information on some tt's having a slightly larger..
rear hub? i'm trying to get new rear brake rotors, and the aftermarket ones i've gotten that are supposed to fit on the 180qc are slightly too small...a guy i work with on my car who owns a repair facility called audi and they told him that some tt's require a different rear rotor than most -- and that there were none of these rotors in the u.s.!

the rear brake rotors that are supposed to be for the 180qc...
are simply too small for my tt...i've tried two sets of aftermarket rotors and one set of oem rotors...the hub is about a quarter of an inch larger than the opening in the rotors...when my friend called audi about this, they asked for my vin, and when they had it they said that some tt's needed a different rotor than the others! very strange!

i think i need to go down to my audi dealer and have them take a look at the hub and see if they have a rotor to fit it -- and exactly what the specs of that rotor are.
ralf has sent me two sets of rotors that are supposed to be for the 180q -- and both of them were slightly too small...and then i tried a set of oem rotors that also were supposed to be for the 180q, and it was too small by the same amount.
it's possible that i got fronttrak rotors each time, but that seems unlikely.
