Is there an accumulation of vanity plates anywhere? I ordered

a vanity plate for my 225QR and wondered what others had put on their plates.

Thanks Larry. BTW, I can't believe how easy it was to do this;

I did the entire process online. Years ago, here in New York, I would have spent an eternity down at the DMV filling out forms, asking questions, etc. Hurray for Cyberspace!

I also live in NY . . . it took less than 2 weeks to get the plate.

Less than two weeks? This CAN'T be the same DMV I knew

and loved when they made us stand on endless lines for hours at a time!

When they realized how much money vanity plates make, they went for it...

Also, vanity plates in NY have been silk-screened rather than embossed for at least 4-5 years. That's quicker to make.

In '97 I ordered "UNRED" by phone for my then-new Black Corvette (everyone else's C5s were red). When the tags arrived about 10 days later, they said "UNERD". Close, but no cigar. When I called back to correct the results of the dyslexic typing, the DMV employee who answered ROFL. She got the correct plates out in a week or so, and told ne to turn in "UNERD".

No way! They've hung on our garage wall since then.
