Default Way OT Question for Hearst Castle Run folks ...

I saw a photo posted below from the HearsTT event with a bottle of Gordon Biersch in the foreground. Anyone know where I can locate some of that in New England?

I stopped by one of their breweries while in Memphis earlier this year but had no idea they sold their brew at liquor stores as well. Good stuff.

TIA.

Default If you want to order online...

Beverages and More carries it. They ship to most states, and if you'd care to take a look, just follow the link below.<ul><li><a href="http://www.bevmo.com/productlist.asp?area=home&mscssid=0EQP0E6CXMD99N56 SMHQ9SET4NSC5MNE">Gordon Biersch Beer</a></li></ul>

Default I've been a GB fan for years.... Some history...

I've been supping steins of their fine foaming brew at the "founding" brewery restaurant in Palo Alto ever since I've been in CA. Dan Gordon & Dean Biersch never imagined what it would grow into. 20 (?) locations in 6 states, 15 more in airports, sports arena concessions, a huge brewing/bottling plant in san Jose, and Safeway carrying the bottled product.

My favorite in bottle is the Pilsner, then the Blond Bock, and the Marzen. If you go to one of the pubs, try the Winter Bock (but not too much - it's 8%)

When there were just the initial 3 restaurants, San Francisco, Palo Alto & San Jose, we used to do a regular "daily tour", all three in oe day. This became more complicated when they opened in Pasadena - 11.00am start in SF, 30 of us on the chartered bus to Palo Alto, 2 quick ones, on to San Jose, then down 101 with kegs in the bus to finish the evening in Pasadena.

That was fine, till they opened the fifth one in Honolulu. You guessed it. Same schedule, this time flight to Pasadena from San Jose, 3 bracers for the flight to HI, and close the one there. That's real dedication.

Good parties. And NO driving!
