Where's the Frik'n Bose factory amp hidding???
I am going crazy looking for the factory bose amp in my roadster. I have removed every panel behind the seats. I even checked in the trunk, behind the side panels. The only thing I have not removed is the storage compartment "black piece" behind the passenger seat below after removing the panels, because it has the trunk release attached to it and didn't want to mess with it. But I was able to look under it by lifting it and did see anything. I noticed that all the cables that come from the front were taped and ran through the side of the well on the passenger side once the panel was removed, but I can't find the amp. Can you help me??? Also, how big is it ??

contact Wilson_TT. That is where the pic comes from. He took lots of photos of the area, but you are right, it's not obvious.

Headliner?
I like it now that it's in.
Worth the expense?
Not really, a bit over-priced. It should be closer to $250-300, IMHO.
It *does* drop the ambient noise, and so far, is a mild improvement on retaining heat.
It's a bitch to install, 'cuz it's not real intuative. The instructions help, but you will need to modify the install proceedure, and be fairly limber, as you rut around in the car, top partly up/down.
I was sitting on my knees, facing backward a lot.
The hardest part is the end, where you need to remove the front fasica piece at the front of the top. Well, you can't really remove it, because you can't get the top release handle off.
You need to remove a metal bar under this piece, each side of the top hanlde, to get the headliner under this to tighten it.
If you could remove this trim piece completely, it would make it a lot easier.
Also, it would help to have two people do this step.
