Default dustless brake shoe

Has anyone had any experience with aftermarket dustless brake shoes????

Default It's been a long time since I've heard it called a "shoe". :)

I've used EBCs and now Porterfields and I find the Porterfields to be superior. Lower dust, no squeal and they bite great. You can get them at <a href="http://www.myroadster.net" target="_new">www.myroadster.net</a>.

Default For terminology purposes...disc brakes have 'pads' and yes there are low dust ones

available and there are followers for each brand...Mintex, EBC, Porterfield to name a few.

Default I was lol on this...shoes used to be so common...but just wait...give it 5 years

and there will be some who won't beleive we actually used iron rotors

Default LOL! I had one of the Fisher Dolby 8 Track recorders! What a joke....

Although I must say that the Dolby NR really gave the track gaps an almost unearthly silent quality. I think I still have a couple of CSN&Y 8 Tracks in my parents' attic.
