Worn leather and what the dealer did about it...
The dealer was also able to fix a rattle from behind my glovebox.
BTW - the dealer is Scottsdale Audi in Az. They are great. They even sell chips, exhausts. cold-air intakess etc and install them themselves. And do not void warranty. That was the best dealer service I have ever had. I feel sorry for you guys with bad dealers.
Anyway, I was thinking about getting a few of the Phoenix, Mesa, Scottsdale area TT-ers from the forum and weather permitting taking a group drive into Prescott for lunch at Zeke's.
Interested?

When I groused that the work was not acceptable (the service manager actually agreed that the cover needed to be replaced), the dealer filed a claim, which was initially denied. I "groused" a bit louder, however, the claim was appealed, and the replacement "skin" was approved.
Apparently, the success of the dyeing is dependent on the color of the leather. I have Aviator Grey seats. Perhaps you have a color that holds the dye a bit better.

I'm assuming they will need to replace it at some point if I keep the car that long.
