I mean, really, why extend all that effort to lift your arm and reeeeeach for the remote, when you could just mumble "Discovery Channel; Volume 11," instead... Smashing!

The only problem with voice activated home theater remotes is the actual HOME THEATER!
When the volume is cranked on Jurassic Park III and the floor is shaking and nails are popping out of the drywall how in the hell is that remote going to hear me say "pause DVD?"
