Corvettes and rain do not mix...
Everyone wants to race and today it was no different. I was at a stop light when a red Corvette, looked like a 95 or 96, pulled next to me. He looked over to me and was inching towards the light. The stretch of road we were on had a steep curve in it and then goes down to one lane. The light turned green, he spun his wheels I let off the clutch at 4,000 rpm and whoosh off we went neck and neck until I hit the curve and punched it! He slowed down and I was able to gain the pole. I normaly never race people (too many tickets) but in the rain it is fun. Death to soup can welded rice rockets.....

You just got all that work done at PES right?
Next time all get together and do some vag testing it would be great if you could join us.
Reason is, a few of us also have GIAC chips, and have registered #s much lower than people running with other chips. WOuld be interested to see if your new set-up gets the same results.

The safety of the tt can be hazardous
I owned a C5 Corvette. Very fast and very difficult for anyone other than a very competent driver to control in the dry. In the rain applying power is even more difficult. You'e lucky he didn't go sideways into you. Remember even though we in our TT's have an advantage, others who don't can lose control and take us out.

Yeah, I had my work done on my TT at PES and I did all the work on my A4 myself. Learn from my mistakes. I have to believe that I am putting out atleast 265-275 HP and about 290 in Torque. At the wheels, who knows?
