16" AEZ Radons w/ 215/55 Michelin Arctic Alpins. This setup so far has been excellent. The tires got sort of a bad rap for high noise level and their subpar handling on dry pavement. I've driven about 500 miles on these tires and they don't make any more noise than my stock Pirelli P6000, and the handling on the dry stuff is fine. I'll report later on their snow and ice grip if we ever get snow in the DC metro area this year.
Before mounting the tires on the rims, I weighed the wheels and they came in at 19lbs...pretty light. The steering seems to be lighter and the acceleration seems to have a little more zip. Maybe there is some validity to the "unsprung weight" theory.
I think this winter setup will handsomely accompany my upcoming summer set up of 18" Sportec Mono 10's and some sticky tires.
I also took the first step in making my TT a stealth TT.

Next are the brake calipers and rear audi emblem with the same black semi gloss enamel paint (high temp).
Once the holiday season is over, anyone want to help me put on my new rotors and pads? I'll supply the beverages..^|^
