TT ExTTreme South Key West: Final price is in, it's a bit cheaper, and we enhanced it a bit.
The per person cost is $585.00 per person. Now, this is a reduced hotel room rate, so I enhanced the cocktail and dinner to be a seafood feast on the beach.
This price is based on us meeting the minimum of 10 rooms, no exceptions. If we get more, I might be able to get some other services added at no extra charge, or perhaps even reduce the overall cost enough to give everyone some spending money in Key West :-)
Anyway, as I have it, we already have 5 couples committed. I have arranged for this to be a call-in (hotelspeak for groups who reserve a package directly with a hotel even if arranged by an outside operator), so you will all be able to use credit card of your choice. However, I want to remind you all that I have to sign a contract, and that contract has a minimum guarantee of 10 rooms, so before I sign anything, I need to have firm commitments from you all.
To whet your appetites, here's the breakfast and cocktail/dinner menu:
Breakfast Daily in the Harbourview room - Key West Breakfast
Scrambled eggs
Grits and cheese
Hickory smoked bacon
Southern home fried potatoes
Thick slices of French toast with bananas and pecans
Assorted bakery basket
Cocktails and dinner on the hotel's beach
One hour of cocktails, Smoked fish dip and mousse,
Key west peel and eat shrimp, and cheeses on the beach
Followed by dinner of
Steak and lobster grilled on demand
Catch of the day
Conch chowder
Ceasar Salad with shrimp
Cucumber and red onion salad
Roasted red potatoes
Fresh vegetables
Followed by
Key lime pie, fresh fruit tarts, and Coffee
Oh, and by the way, this dinner can be for either the first night or the last, which do you prefer? Personally, since this trip will have many people who have never met, perhaps the first night would be best, IMPO. OK, who's comin' down? :-D
