Default Sleep? Its finals week.. No one sleeps :)... As for you question

Im pretty sure that you can add a dual exhaust.. You will need to get a new rear valence (I believe it will cost about $150 painted) and of course the exhaust.. As long as you have a quattro I believe you can use any 225 exhuast but I might be wrong.. Anyone care to clarify??

I've seen numerous pictures of aftermarket two way (and more, ick) exhaust put on 180s.

Default There is no room at the rear for the 2nd tip -- the spare tire well is in the way.

Crawl under there and check it out. The spare tire well hangs down about 6 inches from the rear of the car - almost touching the rear valence. I recall that someone (Stratmosphere???) used to sell a $1500 Forge exhaust that supposedly would work, but it had so many twists and turns to route the second pipe to the rear passenger side it was dubbed "all the rage in WHO-ville" when pics of it were posted here. I'm unsure if this would even work anyhow -- unless the second tip was only 2-3 inches long. That just wouldn't look right, IMHO.

Default I'm not sure if that matters in this case....

It's true that 225's have a larger exhaust manifold than the 180's, but I don't think the manifold on a 180QC is different from a 180C FWD, nor is a 180 coupe different from a 180 roadster. Several folks with 180QC's have added a dual exhaust. I'm not sure about the 180 FWD coupes, but the 180 TTR's simply don't have the room in the rear for the extra tip.

Thanks I was under the impression that one could just slap on the 225 exhaust except manifold.
