2002 CD changer question
Hi,
Just picked up a TT roadster over the weekend, 180HP FWD model with the premium audio package. The salesperson told me that the 2002 comes with an in-dash 6CD changer, this being different from the 2001 model, which has a CD changer behind the seat.
Luck had it that the radio code had not been programmed, so I could not try the radio before I drove it off the lot, I have to return to the dealership tonight to have them program the security code.
In either case, imagine my surprise when I found a CD changer behind the driver's seat. I thought this was just supposed to be in the dash.
I am just curious if anyone can confirm whether the 2002 has an in-dash changer and whether I should expect a changer behind the driver's seat?

The In-Dash CD player is a single disc.
In the 2000 and 2001 models, the in-dash unit had a tape deck instead of a CD player. The 2002 model changed out the head unit only...You should still have a 6 disc changer in the armrest.
