QUATTRO vs QUATTRO
Would like to hear from any TT owners who previously owned an Audi product with the current generation Quattro. I will be trading in my A4 which has been incredible in the rain and unstoppable in the snow (with the right tires !) I am really looking forward to my new TT but would appreciate some reviews of the electronic quattro vs the mechanical quattro I've grown to love.

Re: Drove both, I like the haldex better. Saves more gas and you barely notice the FWD all the time
I have both. I don't feel a difference in everyday driving although I was sceptical when I got the TT with Haldex-quattro.
I agree to what Jason said. Gasmilage of the mechanical quattro IS bad.

Jurgen, are you going to APR on Saturday?
#1 son has baseball game at 11:30 best case for me will be leave after the game and get there about 3PM. Thinking of stainless steel brake lines as a lo cost mod to do.

Yup, I will be going.
So you will be finally upgrading the brakes? Hmmmmm.....Jeff, please don't start anything, like YOU did last year.
Oh man, my resistance is already fading away. LOL
Will APR install the brake lines or is it a do it yourself job?
BTW, did Chin sent ya the Info about Homestead and Sebring? Unfortunately I won't be able to do Sebring this time but I'm thinkink of going to Homestead.
