Stevens Creek Audi Service STILL PROBLEMATIC!
1) The service tech just called me and tried to convince me that overfilling the ctankcase was not a bad thing. He mentioned that some guy there who races has been telling folks that it wasn't a problem to overfill. I had to ARGUE with him to remove the excess oil. And now I have to take it back in the morning.
2) Tires rotated. But they didn't check the pressure. And when I mentioned that to the Service Tech, he said something like "We're all human, we all make mistakes".
Why cant the dealers stop treating us like idiots?

When I took my car to the dealer to schedule maintenance on the DENTS that they put in...
The service rep said to me,
"We may put the dents into the car, but we make sure that they get fixed too!"
As though this was supposed to make me feel better about their service. I wonder if the owner of that dealership knows that his employees are using this as a motto - to be expressed in the presence of his/her customers.
What caught my ear about the statement was that he used plural subjects in the sentence. How many dents has this particular AUDI service station caused to vehicles?
Unfortunately, this is the ONLY dealership near me that will give me a loaner car. Guess I'll have to go locally from now on, wait for service, and watch my car as they are doing it.
ARRRRRRGGGH. So much for buying a higher class vehicle for the GREAT service you get with it. =8^(

what you meant? BTW, with a A4 in your name (and a low user number) maybe you should content yourself with that group... I KNOW I would feel better if you were to stay there.

That's harsh. How about some people enjoy working
on cars. "Real living" means different things to different people. There are jobs for everyone of every interest .. thankfully so. Haven't seen a lot of trained chimps doing scheduled maintenance on Audis lately. Well, there was that one guy at Danbury... ;-)
