Internet dating update...

Assuming she shows, I will be attending this weekend's Salton Sea run with a very nice young lady that I met online. 25 years old with a 4 year degree, a decent career, very smart and pretty, and a nice figure (not that it matters).
So for those looking, give it a shot. I've had the best luck with Matchmaker.com, but there are other decent sites too. For anyone interested, clicking on the link below to the SoCal TT Club will provide a banner ad which will get you a free trial membership. If you eventually pay, I get dough. But even if you don't, it's still worth a shot.
I am very happy with the results from these sites. Hopefully, they'll work for you too!

Right now, the bite is really good. If it was just us guys, I could tell you what I'm not pursuing just because of lack of time. I do think this is a very good way to meet someone. You can learn a lot about them in a way that wouldn't happen in a bar.
It is easier to let them know if they aren't a keeper.
Sike, just kidding of course...I really do see your point(s). Thanks!

On these dating sites, you know so much more about someone. How old? What education? Do they have/want kids? Articulate? Good sense of humor? Where do they live? Income level? Good sense of humor? Psycho? You can never be sure, but you get so much more info.
If they're not interested, they won't reply. If I'm not interested, I don't reply. Tonight, I got 2 responses from women who were stunning. One lives in AZ but gets to S.D. a lot, and the other is local. The sad thing is that I might not have time to persue these. Still, I'll see if I can do coffee or the like.
Again, I do think this is a very good way to meet people. I've even made a few friendships with ladies when the romantic thing didn't work.
