20k service today... plus my continuing problems
Took the car in... 3rd time in the shop in 4 months.. good record, eh?
mobil 1 on the seat, please use it
20k service.. make sure you do haldex
drivers seat creeks very badly when momentum changes (the seat itself, not the mounting you tightned last time) ongoing problem.
window on drivers side no will neighter go up or down manually (first it went up and then came half way back down... they said it was the TINT ON THE DAMN WINDOW CAUSING THAT) after 15k miles with tint on it just started happening... stupid asses!! PLus, passengers side doesn't do it.
STILL (the 4th time I complained about this) the hatch plastic and privacy shelf rattle.
I didn't mention the brake sweek because it's gotten better with some hard braking.. so i'll keep an eye on it.
They better really fix this crap... or I'm gonna have to talk with some managers.

Just read your seat problem...
Mine is wearing terrably too... more just from wear and tear, but I wouldn't have expected it to. Oh well.. I guess car dealers just aren't like other industries.. you go into a nice resturant or department store and you don't get what you pay for and they make damn well sure that you are happy when you leave.

I go for my 20K on Friday seems I have an oil leak, added a quart between this and last service.....
Yes it was ok after 15k they put in the correct amount but I wonder if they lubed the gasket of the filter before install because I am seeing a light coating of oil on the inside of my hood and all over the spider web of hoses to the right of the engine. In the general vicinity if the oil filter. Anyone else have problems with oil consumption between changes????

Same here... in Palm Springs over this last weekend
and after winning $50 on the slots (WOOOO) I come out and as soon as I start it I get the oil indicator. So, after checking the stick and seeing its low I grab by extra quart and pour it all it. No biggie.

Ya that shelf rattle... damn that stupid shelf to hell!
I don't think anyone can get rid of the noises from that thing. I took mine off and wiggled the creaky hinges by hand. Whoever Audi uses to supply (manufacture) that part should be shot.

Oy... well I'll let you know what they say.
The first time I brought that to their attention they said they tightened the lugs holding the seat down.. that helped a little on overall seat stability but the creaking is still there.
