Rental car choice...

I'm going to be in Southern California this summer, I've got a choice between an Acura 3.2 TL and a Lexus IS300 as my rental car, the price is almost exactly the same, so I'm just wondering what you guys would pick. Unfortunately they don't rent TT's. Thanks

I'd pick the IS300 just to thrash it - if it was 3.2 type S I would take it instead

The most important decision I make when renting cars:

Is the emergency brake on the front rotors or rear rotors? Only rent cars with the brake on the rears, otherwise you can't play sprint car turns on your favorite off road excursions.

Also, a neato thing to try with rear e-brake cars: At night, drive for about 2 miles at 60 with the brake on, then quick, get out and take a pic of the rear rotors.....instant LM-car look!!
