For those of you that followed my earlier thread about the strange "clucking" noise from the engine.

When the clutch was released and the gear was in neutral position...
I have now been to the mech. and they shifted the clutch, Im not a tech, but the problem seemed to be rust in the gearbox? and some loose fitting of a plate conneting the clutch ? The car have runned 13000 miles...

I get a strange rattling noise when idling in neutral...
The noise is very strange (not a consistent, rhythmical mechanical noise, as a bad release bearing would be). It is almost a whirring/clicking sound. The sound disappears when the cluch is depressed. My dealer has dismissed it as normal several times.
