The truism that fast cars give guys extra pulling power seems to be borne out by a survey out today.
Women in the survey said men were more sexy if they owned a sports car, according to findings from Internet company Fish4cars. Five hundred women were asked to "rate" - from photographs - three men on a scale of 1-10, with one man being attractive, one average looking and one unattractive.
The women then had to decide if each man had greater sex appeal if they had a Lotus Elise sports car, a Renault Clio and a D-registration Volkswagen Passat.
A total of 65% of women said the good-looking guy was sexier with a Lotus Elise, while 51% thought the average-looking man was more attractive with the Elise.
Even 24% thought the unattractive man looked better with an Elise. When asked which cars were the sexiest a man could drive, the women put the Audi TT at the top of their list, followed by Aston Martin, the Elise, a Ferrari and a Lamborghini.
The interviews were carried out with women aged 18-40 in London, Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds and Bristol.

seriously... does this show that women (in the survey) are materialistic and are looking at the car alone... or are they maybe thinking that a man showing good taste is more appealing regardless of what his outward looks may reveal? hmmm???
