Manager - Process Engineer

Description:

Position reports to the Corporate Quality Manager. Position to be located in Washington, NJ to allow close proximity with manufacturing operations. Position interrelates with all NA Cebal operations at all levels. Travel required to support the business Quality Improvement Initiative (QIIC), S.A.B.R.E and Continuous Improvement Programs. Position to have one direct report, Graphics Manager (Printing Expert) with possible future addition of Injection and Extrusion Expert positions. Primary responsibilities include process control and improvement, development and standardization of best manufacturing methods, standard operating procedures, skills development / training, SPC Team Leader, establishing equipment performance purchase requirements and acceptance criteria. FMEA and supervision of process audits and capability studies. Improved quality and product consistency across all Cebal Manufacturing facilities in NA. Reduce cost as the result of lower spoilage, improved quality and higher productivity. Establishment and sharing with Cebal Worldwide of best method and best manufacturing process. Leadership, direction and development of the existing Expert Network to include Extrusion and Heading. Establishment and control of Engineering Change Notices. Improved process reliability and robustness through the establishment and control of maintenance and regular equipment and procedural audits. Strong process knowledge with engineering or equivalent background. Managerial experience with manufacturing operations and proven record of successful project management and completion. Training and strong interpersonal skills. Team building and goal oriented.

Qualifications:

Strong tube manufacturing technology background and experience. Minimum of 5 - 10 years of related work experience with proven track record. Self-starter. Motivated. Energetic, Strong language and interpersonal skills
