Market Manager
Description:
This position will support the needs of our Dairy Natural Cheese and Process Slice Cheese business to improve our competitive position through the ability to provide intense focus on specific segments representing significant growth in the 2002 plan and LRP, going forward. Manage margin to maximize profit contribution to Pechiney for specific product segments totaling $40 to $70 MM in annual sales. Prepare annual business plan, analyze and review performance, develop and implement key strategies in support of the overall business objectives. Manage manufacturing and R&D initiatives to fulfill customer needs. Lead cross-functional teams to identify, recommend and quantify new product opportunities. Develop strategy to create and implement appropriate promotional/selling tools. Continuous understanding of market segments through field visits, trade relations and sales/customer interaction. Facilitate strategies for expanding into new markets including analyzing and targeting business development opportunities along with strategies for increasing penetration of existing markets. Demonstrate continued growth of at least 5% and maintain or improve profitability. Bachelor's degree in related discipline, MBA preferred. Excellent qualitative and quantitative analytical skills. Strong business planning experience. Effective presentation and influencing skills. Good project management skills. Ability to apply creativity to practical solutions.

Qualifications:
Preference is 5-10 years prior marketing management or related experience. P&L/margin management experience. Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills. Ability to lead/motivate teams. Resourcefulness - the drive to seek out information and solutions. Adaptability - the ability to thrive and drive in a changing environment with changing priorities. Strategic approach to business. Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other applicable software.
