I put in a Forge DV this weekend. Do I need to reset the ECU? Do I need a VAG tool?

I do not believe so, from what I have been told the ECU will compensate for the pressure in a week

Default Ya know, I really can't tell much of a difference.

That's why I was wondering if I have to reset the ECU. I had the OEM "N" valve, which I think is the latest version that was put in the TT to correct the problems with the OEM valve, so maybe I didn't have the level of failure that the older valves have.

The power deliver does seem a bit smoother, not as jerky as the RPMs climb, but maybe that is just a placebo effect. The install was cake. Took only about a half hour, and now that I know what to do I could do it in about 10 minutes.

I have heard bad news about the OEM valve, so I figure this was a necessary mod if I am going to chip. Which reminds me, I finished my taxes, and am getting a healthy refund this year, so I want to go ahead with the chip. I'm going to call and "inquire" about a discount if I was to "happen to talk my buddy into doing it at the same time." I'll let you know what they say.

Default I have the baileys dv, noticed less Lag between shifts,

kick @$$ sound with the DV and the lltek intake
