TT-East tech session by ExxonMobil "The Changing Face of Motor Oils"...have a question???...
the ExxonMobil tech session presenter has asked me to ask everyone that is attending TT-East if they have a question concerning lubricants such as..."On the label of a can of oil what is all the letters and numbers mean in the API 'doughnut'? or 'What exactly is synthetic oil?' send them to the Ambassador. So...within this thread write down your question and I will compile and send to ExxonMobil...they will all be addressed in the tech session or in a handout at the tech session...very technically oriented questions will be addressed by ExxonMobil lubricant engineers...so this is your chance to ask those oil based questions that have bouncing around in your head. I will post this again in mid April so everyone will have a chance to ask 'Mr ExxonMobil'....

I'll be fascinated to see what they say in answer to this :)
I suspect it will be "Because we are a pro-active, environmentally responsible company, there's minimal impact from either of these types of oil. If you buy them from us..."

Oil Questions
Her are some that are rattling around in my head. I hope they make sense.
1 - I would like to see some data comparing regular ( petrolium based ) oils, with synthetic and synthetic blends.
2 - I would also like to know if engine compresson has any impact on oil performance.
3 - I would like to know if the octane rating of the gas used has any impact on oil performance.
I will be interested to see the questions from the REAL experts ! Joel ??????

Slick-50 and other tefloon based products work wonders!
they not only clog your oil filter, but also harden more than steel as they clog all of the oil passages within the engine block!
This stuff is a miracle worker for engine rebuilders, since this stuff can't be removed from an engine once it solidifies! Time for a new engine. lol
